ELW, a retired school teacher wrote the Words & Music for
PHONETIC ROCK, after teaching in the LA Unified School
District for over 20 years.  A product of Los Angeles city schools,
she received her BA from UCLA and a Masters in Ed. from
Loyola University, Los Angeles.

appeared in the International Jazz Educators  Journal, and several Jazz Society

IRA & CLAUDIA THOMAS  have written a Memoir about their travels as a jazz duo
