Phonetic Rock was conceived and created by a Los Angeles School Teacher, Emily L. Woody. She had a lifetiime Teaching Credential. She had a Calif. Psychometric Credential (IQ Tests), was a Music Teacher & Pianist. She received a "Finer Womanhood" Award from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She & her daughter, Claudia were members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, in Los Angeles, CA.
